GREENLAND PROJECT
TR Aluminum Designs was awarded the contract to build and deliver five Skid House structures for the purpose of providing temporary berthing at Summit Station, a National Science Foundation (NSF) research station, located in Greenland. Residents of the skid houses will occupy the houses for 2 months or more.
We were excited to be chosen to deliver on this project for the NSF in support of science research. We worked hard on preparing our proposal and continued to work hard until the completely prefabricated units were completed. See below for progress photos, as well as photos of the finished units! They are on their way to New York now, where they will then be flown to Greenland.
We would like to give a special thanks to all of our partners and suppliers that worked with us efficiently and effectively supplying materials in a timely manner. This was a large project with a tight timeline, and we would not have been able to do it without their help!
